Ice Refs is an organization dedicated to providing hockey in Western New York with experienced and motivated officials. We seek to achieve the highest level of expertise in the demanding game of hockey and to promote fair and safe play.

Our goal is to continually improve our product, bringing professionalism in appearance, decorum and skill to recreational hockey in Western New York.

Buffalo Hockey Referees, Inc. was established for the purposes of :

• Improving the quality of amateur hockey
• Ensuring uniformity of rule interpretation
• Creating a better understanding between officials, coaches, players and administrators.
• Maintaining the highest standards of officiating
• Promoting the welfare of amateur hockey, its players, administrators, fans and officials
